Supernatural Love…

How can we love others as Jesus loves us? By helping when it is not convenient, by giving when it hurts, by devoting energy to others’ welfare rather than our own, by absorbing hurts from others without complaining or fighting back. This kind of loving does not come naturally. That is why people notice when they experience you showing love the way Jesus does.  They know you are empowered by a supernatural source.

Dealing with unfair treatment?

When people are unkind, unfriendly and hostile to Gods people, it gives God the opportunity to do great things!

Because Pharaoh was resistant to letting Gods people go out of slavery, God had to work many miracles in order to set them free Himself…

You are about to witness a miracle!

God turns the table on evil doers and brings glory to Himself from the foolishness of those who deny Him. So if you are standing against an iron wall and your request for freedom is, “No, no, no!” Then watch God say, “Well, I told my people to ask, and they will receive. However, since you have said, no, I will say, YES!

Gods way of deliverance brings miracles right before our enemies eyes! His wrath toward our enemies will cause us to praise Him for our deliverance. We rejoice because Gods power delivered us from the enemy and set us free! Freedom from bondage, stress, sickness, lack of knowledge, bitterness, lack of forgiveness, lack of love–free from anything that has you trapped today! Don’t stay in bondage anymore! Man and Satan say, “No” to your release, but God says, “YES, follow me out of this mess!”

He’s just enough…Confirmation after battle

Do your troubles, like deep waters, threaten to drown you?  David, helpless and weak, knew that God alone had rescued him from his enemies when he was defenseless.

When you wish that God would quickly rescue you from your troubles, remember that he can either deliver you or be your support as you go through them.  Either way, his protection is best for you. When you feel as though you are drowning in troubles, ask God to help you, hold you steady, and protect you. In His care, you are never helpless.

Some people think belief in God is a crutch for weak people who cannot make it on their own. God is indeed a shield to protect us when we are too weak to face certain trials by ourselves, but he does not want us to remain weak. He strengthens, protects, and guides us in order to send us back into an evil world to stand for Him. Then he continues to work with us because the strongest person on earth is infinitely weaker than God and needs his help.

David was not a coward; he was a mighty warrior who, even with all his armies and weapons, knew that only God could ultimately protect and save him.  God does not promise to eliminate challenges; instead, He promises to give us strength to meet those challenges. If He gave us no rough roads to walk, no mountains to climb, and no battles to fight, we would not grow. He does not leave us alone with our challenges. Instead, he stands beside us, teaches us, and strengthens us to face them.

Worship the LORD our God and His blessing will be on your food and water. He will take away sickness from among us.  He will make all our enemies turn their backs and run.

It is hard going through challenging times–especially when they do not seem to stop.  However, God delivers us from them all.

How have you seen God at work today protecting you and those you love, administering justice to those who commit evil acts?  You have seen with your own eyes; God has shown you His strength and power, now follow Him with your whole heart.

The way to be in God’s winners’ circle is by loving him and staying faithful even under pressure.  When you are faithful to The Lord, He will show Himself faithful to you.  Psalm 18, Exodus 23, and James 1:12

Preparing for battle…Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you will succeed, and you will refute any accusation raised against you in court. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their righteousness is from Me.” This is the LORD’s declaration.” Whether weapons are used against us, or whether lies are told to hurt us…the result is the same!!!  We will triumph over our enemies and put them to shame!  Our security and final victory are certain because of our trust and obedience to God. Thank You, Lord, that You are merciful, just, loving and steady in a changing world. You are my safe harbor in life’s storms.

Take responsibility…

Exodus 22 talks about making right the wrongs you’ve caused.  If you have done something wrong to someone, perhaps it is not enough to just try to make it right.  Maybe you should go beyond what is expected of you to make things right with that person.  Doing so may help ease any pain you’ve caused.  It also helps the other person to be more forgiving.  Also, it will certainly make you less likely to do it again.

How can you make right the wrongs in your life?  Sometimes it may be just as simple as saying to the person that I am sorry–And asking them for their forgiveness.  Always we should ask God for forgiveness and sin no more.  Think about it today.  What can you do to make right the wrongs you have caused?

Injustice

Father in heaven, give me the eyes to see injustice and the heart to stand up against it. Let me be determined to make a difference.

It is sometimes easy to look the other away when others are being mistreated.  Sometimes even when we do not look away, but try to help, you find that the person being mistreated, not willing to accept your help.  However, it pains your heart to see others not being treated fairly.  Why? Because God’s love says, we deserve fairness.

I pray God gives us courage, boldness, and strength to stand up for what is right in our lives and in the lives of others.  I pray, Father God that you will send us people to help make right the injustice in the lives of others.  You are a God of integrity and fairness.  Too often we hear people say, ” Life is not fair.”  However, You are Lord!  Help us to be fair, treat others fairly, and to stand up in a Godly way, for those that are mistreated.  Let our anger be righteous anger.  Let us bow before You in prayer and act with boldness, courage, and faith…going in The Name of Jesus.  Oh, help us Lord!  Please help us not to turn our heads the other way.

Taste and see…

… That The Lord is good–Does not mean, “Checkout God’s credentials.” Instead, it is a warm invitation: When we take that first step of obedience in following God, we will discover that He is good and kind. Psalm 34:8

Get to know Him…

At different times in our lives, we will be drawn to different characteristics of God—His love, power, gentleness, strength, patience, joy, peace, goodness, faithfulness.

John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world so much that He gave His Son, Jesus.  That whoever believes in Jesus will not perish but have eternal life.

Hebrews 13:8 states that Jesus is faithful, the same; yesterday, today and forever.

1 John 4:8 tells us that God is love.

2 Peter 3:9 says that The Lord is patient with us wishing that we would repent rather than perish.

Psalm 30:5 tells us that God’s anger is for a moment, that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.

James 1:17 reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from God.

Isaiah 40:28 tells us that God does not grow faint or weary. And He knows everything. God is powerful.

Psalm 103:1-22 tells us to focus on the good things that God is doing. Of course we could complain about life, but there is plenty to praise God for. He forgives our sins, heals our diseases, redeems us from death, crowns us with love and compassion, satisfies our desires, and gives righteousness and justice. No matter how difficult our current situation, we have many blessings we can count.

Isaiah 41:10 God doesn’t want us to be afraid because He is with us. God has established a relationship with us; He is our God. And God assures us that He will strengthen, help, and give us victory over sin and death.

Philippians 4:7 tells us that God’s peace is very different from what we know as peace. It’s more than positive thinking, a good feeling or the absence of conflict. God’s peace comes when we know that He is Sovereign—in control. God can guard us against anxiety and depression.

Romans 2:4 tells us that in His kindness, God holds back his judgment, giving people time to turn from their sin in repentance.
