God cares…

We may think–no one knows what we are going through, no one feels the pain that we are experiencing; no one cares.  However, God knows what you are going through and He cares for you!

God knows our feelings and frustrations…He sees the crisis in our soul!  There’s no hurt that goes unnoticed by God. Psalm 56:8 tells us that he has kept a record of our tears!

If we believe God cares about us, then believe also that He wants us to cast our cares upon Him.  God wants us to give our distress, pain, and cares to Him.  (Psalm 55:22.)  It is a simple exchange–give God your junk and He will give you His peace, joy, strength, power, and love.  That is the exchange God wants to make with you today!

God cares.

Care for others…

In Matthew 25: 35-40, Jesus says, “For when I was hungry you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.  I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers, you did it into me.”  Jesus expects us to be concerned about and care for those overlooked or ignored.  How about it?

Family…

A personal message to my family today…
I am here for you.  Each of you is a precious gift from God to me.  I value and care for you under all circumstances. Today, I thank God for my family.  I love you, and I am here for you.

Even when Jesus was dying on the cross, He was concerned about his family.  He instructed John, his friend, to care for his mother.  We should value and care for our family too.  Nothing excuses us from caring for our families.  Show your family that you love them today.  I will.
John 19:25-27

“IT IS I”…

1) How do you react when you given an impossible task? What we should do is what we can with our might and ask God to do the rest…He may see fit to make the impossible possible. Mark 6:37-42 (Jesus feed 5,000 with two fish and five loaves)

2) Though we may loose sight of Jesus, He never looses sight of us! His concern for us will overcome our lack of faith. So the next time you feel “in over your head,” remember that Christ knows your struggle and cares for you. In times of fear and uncertainty, it is calming to know that Christ is always with us. Mark 6:49 (Jesus walked on water to get to his disciples)

The Lord is always with us even when we don’t expect Him to be. His reply to our surprise of Him being there will be, “IT IS I.”
