God Remembers His Promises

God will not forget us…He will fulfill every promise He makes.
God will even do the impossible to make His promises come true.  Do you know what God has promised you?  Read His Word to discover the many promises of God.  God has not and will not forget you.  Do not forget God.  Isaiah 49:8-26

Have a date? Get to know God

Nothing to do this weekend? No place to go? No one to go with?

Get to know God. God wants an intimate relationship with you. How do you spend time getting to know God? How do you get to know someone better? Is it over dinner, by spending time talking to them, by spending time sitting together…well you can get to know God like that too? He wants us to seek after Him, to know everything we can about Him. Isaiah 55:6, Mark 12:30, James 2:23

I repented today because I’ve spent so much time asking God to help me finish my “to do list” that I did not stop to get to know Him. I could have asked him why He loves us, why He create the trees tall, why He doesn’t just demand that we obey Him, how do I learn to forgive like He does? Today, I had a casual chat with God and you can too! You know what…God talks back to us! Listen for Him to speak, through the Bible, through people, through our circumstances, through prayer, through supernatural ways…yes, these are all ways that God can speak to us.

What did God say to me today? He asked if I was proud to know Him? He asked if I was quick to tell others that, “I know God! The Creator of the Universe, the All Powerful King, the Wealthiest in the World, the Almighty!” I cried. I was so sorry for not being proud of knowing God. Think about it; if we met someone famous today, we would not hesitate to ask if we could be photographed with them. We’d text our family and friends to tell them who we met, we would post our encounter instantaneously, and we would be filled with joy over having met them. God is asking today, “Can you hangout with me?” Start by praying, then by reading your Bible. Have a conversation with God today. In addition, you can talk with Him over dinner, in front of the TV, as you take a walk or even while sitting still in a room alone—you and God. God wants you to get to know Him.
