I AM with you…

God does not want us to live in fear.  Jesus is always with us.  Paul advised us not to worry or feel anxious about anything. Hard to imagine when there are overdue bills, problems on the job, failing grades in school and perhaps even failing health. We don’t have to face wickedness alone; God is on our side.

Fear, uncertainty, doubt and sin, challenge us each day. The Holy Spirit can restrain us from yielding to them and give us peace if we’d only believe. Pray to God and be thankful. Praise Him because He is King. Tell God about all your concerns. He cares for you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you succeed; to show you the truth. God hears our prayers; he bends down to listen to our muffled cry. I love the Lord. Will you try Him?

Crucified no more…

God sent His Son Jesus, to save us from sin and to offer us eternal life—to bring us back to Him. Jesus walked amongst us; he ate with us; he performed miracles in our presence; he raised the dead—we crucified Him. God did not give up on us…He sent His Holy Spirit, to live in those that believe in Jesus.

The Holy Spirit of God is with us always, all the time, everywhere!   We cannot crucify the Holy Spirit. No one can separate us from God now…He is still calling for us to come back to Him. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today and be reunited with God forever.

“Unlikely Places”

When I think of unlikely places to live, I think of places that are not probable or suitable for purposeful living. Perhaps it’s because of the geographic location, topography of the land, extreme environmental conditions, deplorable living conditions, poor economy, society, or availability of resources. Where you decide to live typically is connected to your purpose for living. Whether it is for a job, education, the climate, social class, etc. we make a choice to live where we do, for the most part.

Our Heavenly Father, in the form of Jesus, took up residence in a local place…nothing posh, certainly not a place where you would expect a King to live (in a carpenter’s shop). You might even call it an unlikely place to live for the Son of God. God wants us to know today, that He is still taking up residence in unlikely places. Although these places in some cases may be deplorable, refugee camps, prisons, battlefields, or remote and extreme—God is willing to take up residence in us, no matter where we are.

Holy Spirit, we are grateful that You have decided to live in us. Although sin has made us filthy, Jesus makes us clean. The Bible tells us that God has a purpose for our lives. We may be considered unlikely places for the Holy Spirit of God to live, but God has chosen to live in us. God has a purpose in the “unlikely places.”

When the Holy Spirit Comes…

  • He teaches us
  • He reminds us of Jesus words
  • He convicts us of sin, shows us Gods righteousness, and announces Gods judgment on evil
  • He guides into truth and gives insight into future events
  • He brings Glory to Christ
  • He gives us a whole new way to look at life!

Come Holy Spirit…

Fill us with Your Spirit daily Lord, and give us the strength we need when serving You seems impossible!

Jesus asked The Father to send us another Counselor; The Holy Spirit as He had to leave and return to heaven.  John 14:16

Jesus described the Holy Spirit as another Counselor that would be with us forever–the Spirit if truth.  Simply put, the Holy Spirit is the very presence of God within us, helping us live as God wants.  We have Gods permission to use the Holy Spirit’s power each day!  With the Holy Spirit in our lives, we can go through things that would otherwise be impossible for us to carry!  Come Holy Spirit…fill us up today!

Have the Holy Spirit…Have Jesus!

The Holy Spirit is the very presence of God within us.  By faith, we can make use of the Holy Spirit’s power EACH day!  Wow! The Holy Spirit will be with us forever…He

  • lives with us and in us
  • teaches us as we study the Bible, and He puts truth in our mind and heart
  • reminds us of Jesus words in the Bible so we can live by them
  • convicts us of sin so that we know our wrong and calls us to repent of our sin
  • shows us the right way to live according to Jesus
  • guides us into the truth about Christ and helps us to know right from wrong
  • gives insight into future events, what our mission is and how to prepare for it.  God knows what will happen and because He will be with us through it all, we need not fear
  • brings glory to Christ by our lives.  All praise and honor will go to The Lord!

To have the Holy Spirit is to have Jesus!  John 14:18 Every day, all the time!  For always!  Having the Holy Spirit in our lives is having Peace.  Not the peace the world knows as the absence of conflict, God’s Peace is confident assurance in any circumstance.  We have no need to fear the present or the future. Sin, fear, uncertainty, doubt, and many other forces are at war within us.  However, the Peace of God in our hearts will restrain these forces and offer comfort in place of conflict!  Accept the Peace of God by accepting the Holy Spirit; having Jesus.
