God won’t listen…

The bible says in Proverbs 28:9, God does not listen to our prayers if we intend to go back to our sin as soon as we get off our knees. If we want to forsake our sin and follow Him, however, He willingly listens—no matter how bad our sin has been. What closes His ears is not the depth of our sin, but our secret intention to do it again. God hears our intentions as clearly as He hears our words.

Some problems…

…can be solved by careful thought or by rearranging our priorities.  Some can be solved by discussion and good counsel. However, some problems can only be solved by prayer.  Prayer quiets our thoughts and emotions and prepares us to listen.

Want to know “great and mighty things?”

God wants to answer our prayers, but we must first ask for His help. By asking God for help, we are acknowledging that we cannot do it on our own and that God can.

In Psalm 145:18, we are told that God is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. Also, Isaiah 58:9 says. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: “Here am I.” Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things that you do not know.

Our human mind cannot lead us to the spiritual insights that God can show us; Spiritual insights that come from our daily walk with God in prayer. Turn to the Lord now, and He will provide all you need and share with you “great and mighty things!”

Pray more…worry less

Philippians 4:6 tells us, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God. If you want to worry less–then pray more. When we do this, God’s peace will guard our hearts against anxiety, worry, and stress!! We will have joy when we communicate and obey God. Love to you all today!!!
