When we fail to recognize and confess our sin to God, we spread that sin to those around us.

Don’t you know that your own sin can spread to your children?  What about the compulsive liar who lies to make him look good…this in effect teaches those around us that it is okay to tell that “little white lie.”  It is not.  In addition, those extended breaks at work, or the late arrivals and early departures from work; demonstrate to your employees or colleagues that this “cheating mentality” is okay.  It is not.

Lord, expose the obvious and not so obvious sin in our lives.  Bring us to confession of these sins and acceptance of Your forgiveness.  Jesus died to take away our sin.  Receive Christ’s deliverance from all sin today and stop the spread of toxic waste. Genesis 3: 6-7
